Sophie's Smokin' Squeezebox is a Boston-based "one-and-a-half woman band," comprised of Sophie, an accordionist, and Sylvie, a foot-controlled, tap-dancing, bell-ringing marionette.  In an array of matching home-sewn outfits, Sophie and Sylvie perform their eclectic repertoire of classic rock, Top 40, TV theme songs and more at festivals, markets, subway platforms, and street corners across the globe.  Since 2010, Sophie's Smokin' Squeezebox has played in 13 countries, three Edinburgh Fringe Festivals, and many different temperatures.  An avid traveler, Sophie enjoys using her craft as means to explore new corners of the world and seek inspiration.
